Group Fitnesss with Your Dog

Available via monthly or annual pass only for dogs that pass prior group behaviour assessment scheduled in spring of each year.

Description

Led by an experienced, certified personal trainer, professional dog trainer/behaviourist, and Canine conditioning fitness coach, our group fitness classes are the solution to get yours and your dog’s workouts done simultaneously, while reinforcing your dog’s life skills and strengthening your bond with your canine companion.

Similar to a bootcamp or learn to run program, our sessions are structured to accommodate all fitness levels and ages of humans and canines, however we do require pups to be at least 4 months of age and will limit the speed and amount of running they are permitted to do during a session.  Participants will be required to supply their own resistance bands suitable for their fitness level and/or other fitness equipment as deemed necessary for a session.

While our monthly pass is great value (cost of under $8 per session if you attend all sessions), our annual pass gives you incredible savings (cost of under $2 per session if you attend all sessions).

Please note that if your dog is not a past or current Pooch Partners client and has any reactivity to other dogs and/or humans, a Dog Assessment will be required and must be completed PRIOR to registering for this fitness program.

Includes

  • Early morning  outdoor group fitness classes (Mon-Thu at 5:30 a.m.) year-round typically composed of a 5-6 km walk/jog with calisthenics and re-enforcement of basic dog life skills
  • Evening pack walks (Mon & Wed – time varies with season)
  • Participants will be required to bring their own resistance bands suitable for their fitness level and/or other fitness equipment as deemed necessary for a session.
